====== Enabling Microsoft Self-Service Password Reset ======

//Note: Starting December 22, 2023, all Olin password recovery will use Microsoft Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR). The legacy Netwrix password reset tool will be decomissioned.//

To use Microsoft Self-Service Password Reset in the future to recover a lost password, you must establish two or more additional authentication methods to your Olin account. Authentication methods you can use as part of self-service password reset include:

  * Microsoft Authenticator App
  * Other one-time password authenticator (Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.)
  * Phone call or text message (only for backup authentication, or for password reset)
  * Alternate email address (only usable for password reset)
  * Security questions (only usable for password reset)

To add additional authentication method(s) to your Olin account:
  * Go to the Microsoft 365 Security Info page: [[https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info]]
  * Click **+Add sign-in method**
  * Follow the prompts depending on your selection
