Working Model 2D Installation

  1. IE users may click on the following link to begin the installation process, for any browser you will need to copy & paste it into the Run box (Start > Run…): \\stuapp\netapps\workingmodel2d\install\setup.exe
  2. Press Enter to choose English as your setup language
  3. Click Next on the window that pops up
  4. Type in your name, and Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering as the company
  5. The serial number may be accessed directly by clicking on the following link or copying & pasting it into the run box: \\stuapp\netapps\workingmodel2d\serial.txt
  6. Click Next when done filling in all information
  7. Verify all your registration information
  8. Choose the folder you wish to install Working Model 2D to
  9. Click Next
  10. The program will install.
  11. When the installation is complete you can choose to view the readme file by selecting that option.
  12. Click Finish.
  13. Once installation is completed, you will be prompted What is the last word on page E-2 of the Working Model User's Manual? with a text box. Manuals can be found in the library and the IT department. Please contact the helpdesk for information.
