-
-===== Adding Printers by IP =====
-There is a good chance that no printers will show up in your printer list. In this likely case, you will have to add the printer you want to print to by its IP address.
-
-Luckily, every printer has its IP address printed on a sticker on the physical printer itself.
-
-First, **make sure you are connected to an internal Olin network (like OLIN_WH) and not OLIN_GUEST.** Otherwise nothing will work.
-  - Visit the printer you would like to print to and write down its IP address.
-  - In **System Preferences**, select **Print & Scan**
-  - Click the **+** button on the printer list and select **Add Printer or Scanner...**
-  - In the **Add** window that pops up, click **IP** on the top toolbar.
-  - In the **Address** bar, enter the IP address of the printer that you wrote down and press enter.
-  - If the **Use** dropdown menu at the bottom is automatically set to **Generic PostScript Printer**,
-    * Click it and select **Select Printer Software...**
-    * Search for the printer's model number and select the correct driver.
-  - Click **Add** and the printer should be successfully added!
