====== AV Cart Instructions ====== ===== Powering On ===== * Touch the Crestron panel to activate the system (as it may be asleep). * This will take you to the control page. ===== Laptop Connectivity ===== * Connect your laptop to the provided VGA cable on top of the cart. * If using audio, connect the 1/8” plug (attached to the VGA cable) to the headphone output on your laptop. * If a network connection is necessary connect your laptop to the Ethernet cable which will also be connected to the right side of the lectern or use available wireless connectivity. * Selecting the **Computer** input source from the top of the control page; this automatically turn on the projector and lower the screen. ===== For Use with the VCR/DVD Player ===== * Selecting the **DVD** or **VHS** input source from the top of the control page; this automatically turn on the projector and lower the screen. * Control buttons now appear on the screen for the selected source. Open the main cabinet door on the lectern, insert your tape into the VCR or DVD/CD and use the controls on the touch panel to play your VHS tape/DVD/CD ===== For Use with an Auxiliary Audio/Video Source ===== * Locate the Auxiliary inputs just below the accessory drawer and connect your audio/video source. Select **AUX** from the Crestron Panel. ===== Additional Info ===== :!: **System Shutdown Procedure** * Once your presentation is over, press **EXIT** on the lower right corner of the Crestron panel. This will turn the projector off and raise the screen. :!: **Temporarily Hiding the Selected Display** * Please use the mute button (located under the projector on and off buttons) to temporarily mute the displayed image during a presentation. Although no image will be displayed, the projector bulb is still running. :!: **Troubleshooting** * If the projector fails to turn on during touch panel activation or if you are experiencing any other strange system behavior please **EXIT** the system and then boot back in. This will reset the system. * It is necessary that the projector cool down for ~3 minutes before the option will be available to power on again.
