Design Expert 13

As with all other applications, we recommend that you uninstall any existing versions of Design Expert

1. IE users may click on the following link to begin the Design Expert 13 software installation, for any browser you will need to copy & paste it into the Run box (Windows Key + R):
   • 64-bit installer: \\fsvs01\Applications\Public\netapps\StatEase\DX13Net\dx-13.0.7.0-x64.msi
   • 32-bit installer: \\fsvs01\Applications\Public\netapps\StatEase\DX13Net\dx-13.0.7.0-x86.msi
2. Click Run in the Open File – Security Warning window
3. Click Next in the Welcome screen
4. Accept the terms of the License Agreement, click Next to continue
5. Accept the default installation location, click Next to continue
   • You also have the option on this screen re: desktop shortcuts
6. Set how often you want the software to check for updates
   • Default is daily
   • Click Next
7. At the Ready screen, click Install
   • Allow any related UAC prompts that may appear at this phase of the installation
8. At the completion of the installation, click Finish
   • Leave installer checkbox marked to launch software when setup exits

1. Upon launching the software will ask you how it should be activated
2. Select Use Network License
   • Click OK
3. Enter license server name: netapp01.olin.edu
   • Click OK
