ProEngineer Wildfire 5.0

Due to the size of the installation, please DO NOT attempt to install this application via a wireless or VPN network connection. Prior to installing any new version or upgrade, please ensure that you are connected to a live, wired, Ethernet jack on campus and that your wireless network interface is disabled.

  1. IE users may click on the following link to begin the installation process, for any browser you will need to copy & paste it into the Run box (Windows Key + R): \\stuapp\NETAPPS\ProEngineer\WildFire5\x32\setup.exe
  2. Click Next
  3. Select I Accept
  4. Click Next
  5. Select Pro/Engineer
  6. Keep defaults, click Next
  7. Select your preference for English or Metric standards
  8. Click Next
  9. Click Add
  10. Select single license server
  11. Enter STUAPP for Hostname
  12. Enter 7788 for Port
  13. Click OK
  14. Click Next
  15. Accept defaults
  16. Click Next at the Windows shortcut preferences screen
  17. Click Next
  18. Accept the defaults at the next screen, click Next
  19. Accept the defaults at the next screen, click Next
  20. Accept the defaults at the next screen, click Install to begin installation.
    1. Installation will take a while – it’s over 2GB install
  21. Click Next once install is complete
  22. Click Exit followed by Yes to exit the installer
