Synplicity Synplify Premier

IE users may click on the following link, for other browsers you will need to copy and paste it into the Run… (Windows Key + R) dialogue window: \\STUAPP\netapps\synplicity\FPGA\fpgac201003.exe

Click OK

Click Run in the Open File – Security Warning screen for the unknown publisher warning

Click Next at the InstallShield Wizard Welcome window

Select I accept the terms of the license agreement and Click Next

On the Select Features window, ensure that FLEXlm license server option is NOT selected, only Synplify, Synplify Pro and Synplify Premier (DP) should be selected.  Click Next to accept defaults.

Click Next in the Start Copying Files window

Select Floating license

Click Next

Click Next

Select Yes or No depending whether or not you want icons on your desktop

Click OK in the System Designer Installation screen

Click Finish

Install the Identify System Designer if you wish or need to

Go to Start→Settings→Control Panel→System and select the Advanced tab.  

Click on the Environment Variables button.

Select New under User Variables.

Click OK.

Click OK to close Environment Variables window

Click OK to close System Properties window

Start the software and accept the license agreement.

Select the license available in the Select Preferred License window

Click Select

IE users may click the following link to begin the installation of the Identify RTL Debugger: otherwise, use Run..(Windows Key + R):   \\stuapp\NETAPPS\Synplicity\Identify\ident201006.exe

Click OK

Click Run in the Open File – Security Warning screen for the unknown publisher warning

Click Next

Select I accept the terms of the license agreement, Click Next

Ensure that only the Identify option is checked.  Do not select the FLEXlm license server option.  Click Next.

Click Next to start copying files

Select Yes or No depending whether or not you want icons on your desktop

Click Finish
