Adobe Creative Cloud for Enterprise End User Guide
Note: If you are already accessing Creative Cloud applications via an Adobe ID, you will have the option to login with either your Adobe ID (personal) or Federated ID (Olin credentials) once the migration occurs. If you have any content stored under your Adobe ID, you can follow the steps here to migrate this content to your new Olin Enterprise ID account.
Getting Started
Invitation
You will receive an email invitation from Adobe Systems to create an Adobe Enterprise ID account. Please follow the link in the email message to accept the invitation and create your account before proceeding with the below installation steps. You cannot proceed with installation without first creating an account. You must use your Olin College issued email address to create your Adobe Enterprise ID account.
If you can not locate, or do not receive your Adobe invitation via email, please contact the IT Help Desk to initiate a new invitation.
Installation
Creative Cloud Desktop Application Manager
- If you have a personal copy of Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app installed on your computer, open the application and follow these steps. If you do not have installed, skip to Step 2
- Go to the Settings menu (gear icon) and select Preferences
- On the General tab, click on Sign Out
- Click on the Settings menu (gear icon), click on Quit
- Navigate to https://www.adobe.com
- Click on Sign In in the upper right corner
- On the Adobe ID Sign In window, below Want to use your company or school account? click Sign In with an Enterprise ID
- Type in your Adobe Enterprise credentials ( your Olin College issued email address and the password you just created from the link on the Adobe invitation), then press LOG IN Note: If you once had the old email format i.e. first.last@olin.edu you may need to use that same format when signing into Adobe.
- On the Adobe web site, click on Desktop Downloads
- Browse the page for the Creative Cloud section and choose the Download button for that
- If you are taken to a screen asking for your skill level, choose an option that best describes you and press Continue
- If prompted to save the install file, click Save File in the pop-up window.
- Once the file is downloaded, locate and launch the install file. Wait for the installer to download the entire package and install the app.
- When installation is complete, the Creative Cloud desktop application manager should open automatically. If it does not, manually open the Creative Cloud desktop app from your desktop.
- If prompted to login, enter your email.address@students.olin.edu address and wait for a redirection to the Olin College login page. Enter your enterprise email address and password.
Select Creative Cloud products
- Click on the Apps tab to preview the list of products available to you. Choose which products you would like to install, and click on Install for each.
- We recommend everyone installs Adobe Acrobat for all PDF viewing/editing needs. .
- If you choose more than one, the apps will install in the order that you selected them.
- Note that you should wait for the apps to install completely. If you are prompted to update your apps, select Yes to ensure you have the latest version of the product license.
- Once complete, each installed app will provide an Open button; click on the Open button to launch the applications from the Creative Cloud desktop app. Adobe CC applications may also be launced from the Start menu.

Olin College has migrated access to Adobe creative products from license keys to named users via the Adobe Creative Cloud for Enterprise. This will require you to login with your organization credentials, including username and password, to access, download and install Creative Cloud applications. The applications are installed and run on your desktop, just like any other desktop application. The first time you download any of the individual creative apps, you automatically download Creative Cloud for your desktop. You use the Creative Cloud desktop app to access, download, and update any of the individual creative applications.
