Jenzabar File Transfers

Transferring files to and from the Jenzabar CX server requires the use of the SSH Secure File Transfer Client.

CX (QuickMate)

  1. Connect to the CX system as usual.
  2. Click on the SSH Secure Shell window to bring it to the foreground.
  3. From the Window menu, select New File Transfer.
    • Alternatively, click the shortcut button on the toolbar (a yellow folder with blue spheres, located to the left of the Settings button).
  4. A new SSH Secure File Transfer window will open, and you will be automatically connected to cx01.olin.edu.
    • The left pane displays files on your personal desktop or laptop.
    • The right pane displays files in your personal directory (a.k.a. your “home directory”) on the CX server.
  5. Drag and drop files between the left and right panes to copy them between systems.

CX 8.1

  1. Start the SSH Secure File Transfer Client by clicking on Start > All Programs > SSH Secure Client > Secure File Transfer Client.
  2. As with the regular SSH Secure Client used to launch QuickMate, select a profile from the Profiles button menu to connect to cx01.olin.edu.
    • On some older system configurations, profiles may be named sis.olin.edu.
  3. Drag and drop files between the left and right panes to copy them between systems.
    • The left pane displays files on your personal desktop or laptop.
    • The right pane displays files in your personal directory (a.k.a. your “home directory”) on the CX server.
