If you have an existing MATLAB installation prior to R2011a, we recommend you uninstall your current version and reboot your computer prior to running the R2011a installation.

• Go > Connect to Server…
  • Smb://stuapp.olin.edu
• Workgroup or Domain: olin.edu
• Name: username
• Password: password
  • Select the SMB/CIFS shared volume you want to connect to.
• NETAPPS > MATLAB > R2011a > Macintosh > InstallForMacOSX
• Install manually without using the internet
• Open up the fik.txt file found in the base R2011a folder and use the serial listed when prompted for the File Installation Key during the install
• If prompted for “the full path to your license file,” click on the Browse button, and then navigate to the stuapp server using the left side of the window.
• From there, navigate to NETAPPS, and then the MATLAB folder.
• Click on the client-license.dat file, and then click the open button.
• Click the next button on the installation window and continue the installation.
