• To begin with, go to the Software Downloads and download STK Pro and STK Premium Install Packages listed below.
  • Ansys_STK_Pro_v12.5.0\STK_v12.5.0\install.exe
  • Ansys_STK_Premium_v12.5.0\STKAnalyzer_v12.5.0\install.exe

• To Install STK, you can walk through the install instructions
• Unzip both the STK Pro and STK Premium zip files prior to running the following installers:
  • Ansys_STK_Pro_v12.5.0\STK_v12.5.0\install.exe
  • Ansys_STK_Premium_v12.5.0\STKAnalyzer_v12.5.0\install.exe

Note: Analyzer is a plugin to STK used for running parametric studies, carpet plots, and designs of experiments (trade studies). If you think it is necessary, you may want to ensure students have 64 bit Java installed. Most computers have 32 bit Java by default, but not 64 bit. They need Java prior to installing Analyzer for Analyzer to work.

• Once STK is installed, you need to configure your client settings by following directions titled “Point the Client to the License Server” in License manager/Client setup FAQ.
• Use the following to connect to Olin's License
  • ANSYS Licensing Interconnect port number (default is 2325): 2325
  • ANSYS FLEXlm port number (default is 1055): 1400
  • Select number of license server machines: 1-server
  • Hostname 1: NETAPP01.olin.edu
