Student status change

The Information Technology Department will take the following actions based on notification of student status changes received from the Registrar.

Please note: the warranty on student laptops starts the summer prior to your arrival date at Olin and runs for four consecutive years. After that time, the college will no longer be able to service your laptop as your warranty will be expired.

Withdrawal:

  • All student campus access will be disabled as of departure date
  • Student email and network access will remain for thirty days from date of departure

Be sure to remove all important data from the Olin network and all cloud services, including Office 365 and Adobe, prior to discontinue date.

Leave of Absence:

  • All student campus access will be disabled as of departure date
  • Student email and network access will remain for 180 days from date of departure

Study Away

  • All student campus access will be disabled as of departure date
  • No changes will be made to email and network accounts

RAVE Mobile Safety

Remember to deactivate your account on Olin EAS when leaving campus. For instructions on how to edit and deactivate your account, please consult the home page of the Olin portal https://my.olin.edu/ics

Returning from Withdrawal:

  • If you have not previously registered your account on our password management site, please contact the helpdesk at 781-292-2430 for assistance. Be sure to have your student ID number available for confirmation
