TrueGrid v2.2.6 installation

  1. IE users may click on the following link to begin the TrueGrid 2.2.6 installation process, for any browser you will need to copy & paste it into the Run box (Start > Run…): \\Fsvs01\applications\Public\netapps\TrueGrid\v2.2.6\WINDOWS\setup.exe
  2. Click OK to open the file if an MS Office warning window appears
  3. Click Next on the Welcome screen
  4. Click Next to accept the Software License Agreement
  5. Enter the following information in the User Information window
    1. Name: Your name
    2. Company: Olin College
    3. Serial: Leave blank
  6. Click Next
  7. Accept the default installation folder (C:\Truegrid), Click Next
    • NOTE: It is important that this not be changed.
  8. Select Components window
  9. Uncheck the Licensing and Rainbow Drivers options as they are not necessary for a client install.
  10. Click Next
  11. Accept the default program folder name
  12. Click Next
  13. Click Finish
  14. Click OK
  15. Authorize your installation by copying the .tgauth file to your installation folder:
